The design and installation of your organisation's Microsoft network can be implemented with Windows NT 4.0 Server, or Advanced/Enterprise Server if extended clustering or additional processor support is required, onto existing servers or pre-configured servers build according to your specifications.

Installations can be performed for either new NT networks, new servers into existing networks, upgraded servers from previous NT networks/workgroups or migration from other network operating systems. The servers will be installed as either PDC's, BDC's or Member Servers into your new/existing NT domains. If required, the domain structure will also be designed and implementation as either a single, single-master, multiple-master or fully trusted domain model.

The design and installation of your organisation's Microsoft network can be implemented with Windows 2000 Server, or Advanced/Enterprise Server if extended clustering or additional processor support is required, onto existing servers or pre-configured servers build according to your specifications. Installations can be performed for new Windows 2000 networks, new servers into existing networks, upgraded servers from Windows NT 4.0 or migration from other network operating systems. The installation can be performed in either native-mode or mixed-mode, providing backward compatibility with existing Windows NT 4.0 PDC/BDC servers.

For native-mode installations, client operating systems can also be upgraded to Windows 2000 Professional.

The installation of Windows 2000 Server into your organisation, assuming that Active Directory Services [ADS] is installed, will require careful planning and implementation, as the legacy Microsoft domain model will be superceded. eVolution can assist in either designing a new ADS structure [schema, forest, trees, domains, OU's] or assisting in the Windows NT to Windows 2000 domain restructure/consolidation process.

In addition to the installation and configuration of server software and domain/ADS design, eVolution also provides consultancy services for the implementation of network services [DHCP,DNS], systems recovery and protection, user security with encryption, policies and profiles and the optimisation of system performance, reliability and availability. Software deployment of corporate applications [via SMS] to either Windows NT or Windows 2000 application servers will also be performed.

eVolution network engineers would perform the initial installation of your Microsoft Server into a laboratory environment for testing, configuration and tuning, prior to the release into your production environment.  Optionally, on-site or remote maintenance and performance monitoring of your installation would be available.
